A topical cream is a localized method of administration designed to target the affected area of the body by penetrating the top layers of the skin. Higher Remedies products are not transdermal, meaning they do not enter the bloodstream, and are unlikely to interact negatively with other medications.

Tinctures taken orally are absorbed through the mucus membranes and enter the bloodstream. Moreover, they have an increased time to delivery, since it takes time to work through the body. It's advisable to speak to your doctor if you are worried about how they can interact with other medications you may be taking.

Absolutely not. Our products will not get you high. By law, no product can contain more than 0.3% THC, a negligible trace amount.

Higher Remedies products do not need to be refrigerated. If you prefer to take the tincture when it's chilled you can store it in the fridge without impacting the product. 

We also suggest storing anywhere that the product isn't exposed to constant light and or heat.

Yes! Our CBD is sourced from trusted suppliers who test each batch for residual solvents, heavy metals, pesticides, microbials, and cannabinoids. Additionally, we send batches we manufacture to a third-party testing lab in order to ensure high-quality, legal products.

That's a question that has a few answers. The short answer is, it depends on where you're traveling to. When conducting screenings, TSA officers are looking for anything that’s not allowed in the cabin during air travel, including guns and explosives to liquids purchased outside the security gates. 

However, thanks to the Hemp Bill, this doesn’t include CBD. The TSA Website says “Marijuana and certain cannabis infused products, including some Cannabidiol (CBD) oil, remain illegal under federal law except for products that contain no more than 0.3 percent THC on a dry weight basis or that are approved by FDA.” Meaning, if your CBD products conform to the limit of THC outlined by the Hemp Bill, like all Higher Remedies products, it’s perfectly fine to bring them with you on a plane.

Hemp produces more than 80 different phytocannabinoids naturally. Of the 80+ non-psychoactive phytocannabinoids, Cannabidiol (CBD) is the most widely known. Others include Cannabigerol (CBG), Cannabichromene (CBC) & more.

Hemp Oil is the essential oil produced from the leaves, buds, and stem of the hemp plant. Hemp oil can be extracted by both mechanical and chemical means. In the extraction process, the oil retains a range of the phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids found naturally in hemp. Oil that comes from only the seeds of hemp— hemp seed oil — does not include all of the same plant compounds and is primarily composed of dietary fats.
